Apple iPad 2 Available For Voting
As I logged on tonight, I glanced upon an offer in “voting”. Basically, for an offer to appear in the marketplace, enough people have to vote for its approval. I would assume this is to prevent spam offers and junk offers. The iPad 2 is a pretty big ticket item, and it makes me excited where Sweatcoin is going. With enough big ticket items on the marketplace, people will catch attention. The more people who amp up their physical activity, the more competition there will be for offers. The more competition, the more interest in companies or individuals providing offers worth up-voting. It breeds a booming, healthy economy.
The iPad would go for 500 SWC. Assuming a ticket price of $200 USD, that would place the Sweatcoin value at $0.40 each, which is the highest value item I’ve seen yet. Remember, right now Sweatcoin doesn’t have specific values but the offers determine the value of Sweatcoin.
Also available on the marketplace is a smartphone charger for 150, and a FitBit for 500. There are some serious workings going on behind the scenes.
Severe stormy weather has prevented me from venturing outdoors on my runs. Stuck on the treadmill. Hoping one day to be able to track my physical activity on a treadmill, but recently someone on the Sweatcoin team informed me that likely will not be possible unless the treadmill explicitly had technology to verify legitimate physical activity and sync it to a smartphone. So, I go several days without earning Sweatcoin. I just hit 175, however. If I earned 10 coins per day, that would still leave me with over a month of nonstop activity to afford the incoming big ticket items.
