Sweatcoin doesn’t officially “pay you” in the sense of giving you money, PayPal, or currency for your steps. It pays you indirectly by giving you free ‘credits’ to spend on a multitude of offers in the marketplace. These credits are called Sweatcoins.

One of the common misconceptions is that Sweatcoin is directly correlated to how many US Dollars or British Pounds you earn. This is not the case. When you walk 1,000 steps, you are rewarded about 1 Sweatcoin.
You get paid with Sweatcoins
These coins add up, and when you have enough, you can purchase an offer in the marketplace. This is not the same as real currency. Think of Sweatcoins as “discount coupons” that you can redeem for cheaper products, gifts, food, subscriptions, etc.
How much money is a Sweatcoin worth?
The actual value you receive per coin varies greatly. For example, you may get the equivalent of $0.50 from one offer, and another offer might give you only $0.05 per coin.
Therefore when you’re purchasing offers, it’s best to do some basic math to see how much value this offer has compared to how many coins you spend to redeem it.
For example, if an offer costs 150 Sweatcoins and gives you $10 off, that’s about $0.07 per coin value. So you can think of those coins as being worth 7-cents each.
Another offer might cost 700 Sweatcoin and give you $185 off a high tech product. Doing the math (185 / 700) you find that those coins are worth $0.25 each – a much better deal!
So, Does Sweatcoin Pay You?
Yes! If you were already planning on buying something that Sweatcoin offers, then Sweatcoin is providing you a practical, tangible value for your coins.
Think of Sweatcoin as real money you can spend on very specific offers. Think of it like a Gift Card. You might get a Starbucks Gift Card for Christmas – this Gift Card is as good as real money at any Starbucks, though you cannot spend it anywhere else.
If an offer serves no purpose to you, then simply save your coins for another offer that you would have purchased for real money anyway. That way you can treat your Sweatcoins as potential real money to spend!
