The Free Sweatcoin App uses GPS satellites to track movement and activity throughout the day. It accurately detects how many steps you are making based on how fast you are traveling. (If you travel too fast, you won’t get credited, so watch out for that cycling speed!)

How much Cell Data does Sweatcoin Use?
Surprisingly, not that much at all! Your phone probably already has Google/Apple Maps app installed. Those use a considerable amount more data than Sweatcoin.
