Pet’s Planet is a very new game on Game.com, and it’s fueled by one of the newer cryptocurrencies TRON (TRX). This AltCoin has grown tremendously since its release in mid-2017.
Pet’s Planet – as of writing – is only playable in simplified Chinese. However you can easily use your built-in Chrome browser translation to print basic English. (You’re sure to laugh at the wonderfully literal
translations.) They released a news announcement recently that said they were already heavily involved in the translation into English. Now, let’s dive into the game itself, and then we’ll answer some frequently asked questions.
What is Pet’s Planet?
Sometimes referred to as Tron Dogs, Pet’s Planet is a basic pet fashion game in which you buy dogs (using TRON cryptocurrency). These dogs range in rarity, from Common to Rare. The literal Chinese translations designate the following rankings from common to rare: Common, Legend, Epic, Rare. (Don’t be fooled – Legendary is not the rarest! I made this mistake.)

Game.com is planning on releasing several functionality improvements to the game to allow you to trade dogs with other players, breed them, upgrade them, and more. This will be a highly advanced game by the time it’s completed. However, as of writing, we’re still in the first days after the game’s release. Therefore, functionality is very limited.
How do you play this Tron Dogs game?
If the game is not translated to English by the time you’re reading this, you’ll either have to copy and paste Chinese words into Google Translate or you’ll have to use Google Chrome’s “Translate to English” feature. The User Interface (UI) is very straight forward. There’s a menu at the top when you first arrive, and you can log in, register, or browse the dog market.
Signing up for an account is simple. You start out by entering your unique username and password as seen below:
Once you are logged in you must bind your email address. To do this, click on the top “My Pets” and then look for your username on the left. “Personal Settings” will be beneath it, as seen below:
Then click the “Bind” button:
The next screen will have two boxes. The top box will be for your Email Address. The bottom box will be for a Verification Code. Once you input your email address, click the “Send Verification Code” (to the bottom right of the email box). You’ll receive an email with a 5-6 digit code. Copy/paste that into the bottom box. And then click the submit button. You should be good to go!
Buying your first Tron Dog
In order to purchase any dogs, you need to deposit TRON (TRX) into your account. There are many ways to do this, but I highly recommend making a purchase through Binance. If you’re not sure how this works, read our Cryptocurrency investing guide to learn how to purchase Bitcoin with a credit card and then turning those into TRON through an exchange (Binance).
Purchasing cryptocurrency is not hard at all once you get used to it! The first time you do so, it will be very intimidating because you have to sign up for several websites. But once you get your coins onto an exchange, you can convert them into TRON, and then you can withdraw that TRON onto game.com.
Note that Binance has a 50 coin fee to transfer TRON. I recommend purchasing 2050 to get started. 50 to pay for the fee, and 2000 to buy 10 dogs.
Accessing the Pet Bazaar/Dog Market
Click on “Pet Bazaar” in the navigation menu. It will be the right-most menu item. Here is a picture of where this is located:
Pet Rarities
Pets have different rarities. Common, Legendary, Epic, and Rare. In that specific order. I’ve browsed hundreds of Market pages of random dogs, and so far I have not encountered a rarity higher than Legendary. It’s rumored that Epic and Rare dogs will be worth a good sum of money/TRON in exchange once they open up the trading on this website.
For example, in December of 2017 a man sold a rare cryptokitty (from a similar game) for over $100K USD. That shows you how much potential this game has! Therefore, if you see a Rare dog, do all you can to pick it up. You never know what it could be worth in the future.
How to get rare pets
This is only a theory of mine. And I’ll share it with you because you are kind enough to read this far. In order to get a rare dog, you have to be on the website when they release more shop slots. Constantly refresh the Pet Market page to see the newest additions, and nab the rare ones as soon as they hit. The Epic/Rare dogs sell FAST, so you have to be faster! However due to the random nature of their pet selection, it’s still very unlikely that you’ll be able to find any easily.
In the meantime, work to collect all of the Legendary dogs (which are one step rarer than common). They may have a specific purpose in the months to come in regards to trading, breeding, and upgrading.
Free GTC Purchase Bonus!
As of writing you receive GTC credits per pet you buy. This is a completely random amount of GTC credits that you can exchange into TRON. As of writing, you are rewarded 20-50 credits per purchase. These values might be higher or lower.
GTC can be converted into TRON once you reach a certain threshold. For every 1 GTC you have, you can exchange that into 50 TRON. For example, earlier today when I was buying a few Legendary dogs on the market, I received 23, 46, 43, and 27 GTC in that order. If you did the math already, you’ll see that two of my purchases paid for themselves! This is an incentivized way for you to buy dogs and earn some of your money back. Or you can keep your GTC and hope the value goes up over time! (As of writing, GTC is worth about $0.26USD each, though there may be some partnerships in the works to promote this Game Currency on more markets which would cause its value to go up.)
My personal recommendation is to keep the GTC you receive as a bonus. If this game token credit is used in more games, its value is sure to increase significantly. However, if you want more coins to buy more dogs, then certain trade each GTC for 5 more TRON (TRX) each!

What is “CryptoDogs”?
You’ve likely heard the terms Pet’s Planet and CryptoDogs floating around. Essentially these are referring to the same thing. The name CryptoKitties is very well-known, so some people refer to the Crypto (Virtual) aspect of these Tron dogs. Click here to read more about CryptoDogs.
